BJJ Black Belt Coach

BJJ Black Belt | Beau Bourgeois

Beau Bourgeois is a BJJ black belt coach with over two decades of experience, rooted in more than just martial arts. He began training in 2002 as a high school sophomore—young, determined, and surrounded by older, more experienced men. What began as curiosity quickly evolved into a lifelong pursuit built on discipline, quiet persistence, and deep personal growth.

Beau’s roots in the Houma-Thibodaux area run long and deep. He owns Bourgeois Meat Market, a fourth-generation family business founded in 1891. For more than 130 years, the Bourgeois name has stood for hard work, integrity, and service to the community. Beau carries those same values with him every time he steps onto the mats.

After 21 years of steady dedication, Beau earned his black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. This achievement reflects not just time on the mats, but a life shaped by character and commitment. As a BJJ black belt coach, he teaches with humility, clarity, and purpose. His coaching style draws from personal experience and is grounded in values passed down through generations—consistency, respect, and care for others.

Beyond the academy, Beau is a devoted husband to his beautiful wife and a proud father of four. His love for family directly influences how he leads and teaches. He approaches every student with patience and a long-term view, helping others grow steadily over time.

Ultimately, his presence in the academy represents something greater than titles or techniques. It reflects a legacy of responsibility, rooted in family and community, and a quiet but unwavering commitment to lifting others through martial arts.
