Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Coach

Logan Authement is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu coach and black belt at Next Generation Martial Arts in Thibodaux. As one of the academy’s first homegrown black belts, he leads with quiet confidence and sets a powerful example through consistency and focused effort. His mindset inspires growth in everyone he trains with.

After graduating from E.D. White Catholic High School in 2017, Logan continued his education at Nicholls State University. There, he earned a degree in Health Sciences and a minor in Psychology. In addition, he pursued graduate studies at Texas Chiropractic College, where he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2025.

Logan was awarded his Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt on March 22, 2025, following nearly a decade of dedicated training. Now, he serves as both an instructor and training partner at NGMA. His calm focus and technical precision are felt in every class.

What sets Logan apart as a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu coach is his ability to apply his knowledge of human movement and biomechanics. Because of this, his students train more intelligently, move with greater efficiency, and develop with long-term purpose.
