Sit Over Hub
The Knee Outside Break works two ways — as a standalone technique and as the natural follow-up when the bottom player defends the Low Level Break. When they feel it coming and shift their hips, they've given you the opening. That movement is what sets the outside break up.
The key is staying connected through their adjustment. Don't reset. Don't start over. Follow their hips, step outside, and let their own movement set the break up for you. The harder they try to avoid one thing, the more available the next thing becomes.
Once the knee is across their midsection and you're posturing tall, the pressure starts doing the work. Your collar grip contorts their spine. Your arm drives one leg away. Your hip controls the other. All you have to do is backstep — slowly, deliberately — and the guard opens itself.
