Mount Top — Middle Mount

Cross Choke Variations · Americana · Gift Wrap to the Back

What To Think About This Week

The Lesson

Last week was about owning the position. This week the attacks begin. But the lesson from last week does not go away — control still comes first. A submission attempt from an unstable base will cost you the position.

Feel your base before you attack. Feel when your partner shifts their weight. Feel the difference between a stable middle mount and one that is about to be rolled. Attack from a position of control — not desperation.
