Open Guard Top — Bullfighter Hub

Bullfighter Hub — Leg Control, Ankle & Wrist, and Stack Pass

What To Think About This Week

The Lesson

Sag your weight into their legs and feel what they give you. Are they pushing back against the knee pressure? Help that leg go — leg control pass. Did they grab your sleeve? Take it and trade — ankle and wrist pass. Are their legs getting frantic? Drop under, stack them, set your grips, and let the pressure work.

The hub stays available as long as you keep your elbows inside their ankles. Stay patient, stay heavy, and read what they give you.

Class Rolling & Takedown Rules

How We Roll

White vs White
Flow training by default unless the instructor specifies otherwise. Build movement and good habits before competition pressure.
Upper vs Lower
Lower ranking student picks their top position. Blue through black vs white, or blue vs black — the lower rank decides where to start.
Purple / Brown / Black
Neutral start or request a specific position you want to work on. Self-directed development at this level.
Takedown Rounds
Same rules apply. White vs white — controlled and flowing. Upper vs lower — lower rank picks entry or tie-up. Purple / brown / black — neutral or requested start.
