Side Control — Lapel Under

Baseball Choke · Cross Choke · Brabo Choke

What To Think About This Week

The Lesson

This week is about understanding the power of a system over a single technique. No one choke in this series is the point. The series itself is the point. Each threat you present forces a decision. Each decision your partner makes opens the next threat. By the third choke they are not defending technique — they are reacting to chaos.

Drill the series in order every time this week. Feel how your partner's defense shifts from threat to threat. That shifting is the information you are collecting. The mistakes you are looking for live inside that shift.
